I am a licensed speech language pathologist working with children ranging in ages from Kindergarten through 5th grade with varying diagnosis. My objective each day is to figure out a way to get the kids excited and interested in what we are working on in order to achieve their individualized goals. Students learn and carryover so much more when they are engaged in activities they like and do everyday.I currently screen, evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy services as one of seven SLP's in our district. I have been certified in PECS, Picture Exchange Communication System, as well as taking several sign language classes for those students who have limited to no verbal output. My current therapy sessions range from one on one sessions to small group therapy.
