Maps the strategic paths for a successful recovery department, while managing the daily operations related to Payment Integrity and Coordination of Benefits (other commercial insurance coordination, Workers Compensation, No Fault cases, Medicare/Medicaid and subrogation). Research, identify and build business cases for new recovery opportunities for the Corporate Recovery department. Implement select recovery vendors through contracting, implementation and performance management, support department initiatives through project management and/or team support. Create and improve policies and tools to enhance communication with vendors and IT resources, create and use performance measures to monitor, manage and evaluate vendors on performance, while managing recovery growth and ensuring best practices.

Managed corporate NASCO administration including claims and correspondence processing, adjustments and customer service for a multi faceted team.

Managed the corporate check disbursement process for claims, premium, broker and vendor payments, premium payment processing (both internally and through a lock-box processing center), miscellaneous payment processing, bank and receivable reconciliations, bank account initiation, automation and maintenance of audit recoupment process and 1099/ERISA processes.

While acting Team Leader was on leave, in addition to regularly assigned duties, supervised the Accounts Payable staff, answered vendor inquiries, reviewed Hospital Advance Payments weekly wire information, approved vendors, assisted with testing and answered internal inquiries as needed.

Responsible for the completion of monthly reconciliations, exhibits and journal vouchers. Performed PeopleSoft system maintenance and upgrades on a continual basis as Module Lead. Was the Dun & Bradstreet Collection agency liaison and updated training and procedure manuals to reflect the current workflow. Trained new and current personnel as needed.
