Directs implementation and oversees the day to day operations of Medicaid and Medicare Compliance Programs, Compliance Plan, Code of Conduct and FWA Plan.

Responsible for researching, developing, facilitating, monitoring, administering and coordinating activities related to insurance regulatory compliance and business practice compliance. Provide consultative and counseling services for all compliance programs and focus on compliance projects for all active and legacy product lines in the Global Life North America Division. Provide assurance to Senior Management that compliance risks are identified and appropriately managed. Utilizing a risk-based approach, detect and prevent compliance issues, and then collaborate with Senior Management to ensure that effective internal controls are in place. Assist in building, promoting, and maintaining a culture of compliance and ethics within the Global Life Americas Division. When necessary, develop remediation action plans. Responsible for monitoring compliance in a variety of regulatory and general compliance areas, including validation on fulfillment of consent orders and state or multi-state agreements, validation on implementation of new legislation, coordination of market conduct exams, privacy, AML, OFAC, Anti-trust/Fair Competition and related compliance matters. • Sucessfully collaborated with GLNA Operations unit to develop all form, procedures and policies for the new business unit. • Effectively implemented intranet site to aid in communicating corporate policies and procedures to staff within the GLNA unit. • Manage relationships with third party administrators and regularly monitor their business practices to ensure compliance with Zurich policies and procedures.
