With over a decade in science education, I am passionate about designing, deploying, and maturing K-12 student science curricula and assessment development across the school district. As a K-12 Science School District Administrator at Martin County School District, I lead a team of 21 Science Instructional Leaders and manage a budget for STEM Education grants exceeding $1.3M. I am committed to advancing innovative science pedagogy and evidence-based practices, and to fostering a culture of collaboration, inquiry, and excellence among educators and learners.In my current role, I coordinate professional development for adult learning, leveraging my skills in communication, staff development, and youth mentoring. I also advise and support the district's STEM initiatives, such as Computer Science initiatives, the STEM Fair, and other STEM Programming. Previously, I was a Program Specialist for STEM at Orange County Public Schools, where I facilitated professional development sessions for subject matter experts, established best practices for e-learning, and developed programs and onboarded faculty for STEM programming. I hold a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, a Master of Education degree in Science Education in Teacher Leadership, and a Professional Teaching Certificate in Earth and Space Science.
