I am an avid lover of nature and non-fiction books. I currently own and operate a small graphic design and photography business called True2Nature imagery sharing inspirational art that includes my own images and poetry. I also create custom designs upon request for print on shirts, canvas, and various handmade decor. I specialize in nature-themed artwork however I do create pieces for the "human" nature side of things such as family collages and also personalized pet-related purposes. Most of my print products and partners I source from practice sustainable printing and sourcing methods and are within Canada.I have previously performed in a customer service role while employed by two public libraries and for almost four years in a Marketing Coordinator role at a large publishing company. I have enjoyed contributing my attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer-focused attitude in these roles.I am experienced at retrieving and analyzing information and working effectively both in a team as well as with minimal direction. I possess a diploma in Marketing in Advertising as well as in Digital Media Design. I am fluent in a Mac OS X Platform and with all Microsoft Office 2011 programs and Adobe CS5 InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. I am experienced in preparing for and attending tradeshows, tracking attendee evaluations at speaker events, and contacting vendors and printers for various marketing pieces. I have also created several large product catalogues, posters, and other design materials.
