Ms. Brienza graduated suma cum laude from the University of Baltimore in 1998 with a Bachelor’s degree in Jurisprudence, and received her law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2001. While receiving her education, Ms. Brienza was named a Mount Royal Law Scholar in 1998 and 1999, received the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award in the Jurisprudence Program, and received the Maryland Women’s Forum Scholarship. For the past 11 years, Ms. Brienza has provided legal services to the local community through her small, client-centered private practice.In addition to her legal work, Ms. Brienza is a community activist who has advocated for legislative change on a variety of issues at both the state and local levels. She has also devoted significant time over the years advocating to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities. In 2003, Ms. Brienza was appointed to the Anne Arundel County Commission on Disability Issues, where she served for three years. Ms. Brienza is also 2008 graduate of Leadership Anne Arundel and currently serves as Immediate Past President of Opportunity Builders, Inc.
