Responsible for managing the Vopak Terminal - Hamilton. The Hamilton terminal is a bulk liquid storage facility located in the Port of Hamilton with diverse modalities for product movement including rail, pipeline, truck and marine transport.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Formulate the terminals objectives and strategy in line with corporate directives; Provide leadership, guidance and direction to all departments to ensure they perform safely and efficiently; Delivering excellent customer service, contributing to their success while using the terminal’s resources sustainably and safely; Set priorities, manage department budgets and directs the implementation of organizational standards, policies, procedures to achieve company objectives; Ensures company compliance with applicable laws and regulations relating to Health, Safety, Security and Environmental compliance.A member of the Canadian Management Team. Manage the implementation of the quality system and corporate standards; Ensures efficient staff support by training, coaching and motivating staff; Responsible for overseeing operational and maintenance master plans, cooperating on business development strategies, training modules, individual job procedures, work instructions, outlining responsibilities and safe working practice in accordance with company policy, standards and industry best practices.

Oversee Environmental, Health and Safety program for a large vinyl manufacturing facility. Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of all EHS and regulatory compliance programs at the facility including health and wellness initiatives, Return to Work facilitation, budgeting, executing emergency response exercises, monitoring KPI's and developing and executing plans for EHS improvement. Point person for new product chemical review process coordinating efforts with the Product Development team.Environmental compliance including regulatory compliance, overseeing environmental permits, MOECC compliance action plans, external communication liaison with regulatory officials, emergency response parties and members of the surrounding community. Coordinate the completion of annual reports including ESDM, NPRI, GHG, TRA and annual stormwater management and emission control submissions. Responsible for overseeing hazardous waste management and recycling/waste reduction initiatives.Lead Auditor and Environmental Management Representative for the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Standard Certification.

Responsible for the management of all Safety, Health, Environment and Security matters of a Bulk Liquid Storage Terminal. Products included Gasoline and aviation related products, asphalt and chemicals. Development and reporting of strategic priorities, safety improvement plans, goals and key performance indicators. Provide terminal representation to all regulatory bodies. Certified Marine Security Facility Officer, responsible for managing the Transport Canada Certified Marine Security plan. Provide coverage for the Operations Supervisor as required.Chairman of Divisional Health and Safety Management Meetings
