Research, coordinate and provide policy advice to senior management on waste diversion and recycling in Manitoba. Act as the project lead on several policy and program initiatives related to waste diversion and recycling and the administration of the Waste Reduction and Prevention (WRAP) Act. Design and implement public and stakeholder engagement plans for the branch (IAP2 trained).

Research, coordinate and provide policy advice to senior management on a broad range of complex resource and environmental management issues. Experience writing effective advisory notes, discussion papers, cabinet and treasury board submissions, strategic plans and materials to help build stakeholder understanding on complex natural resource management issues. Provided policy support to the Clerk of Executive Council in his duties as Deputy Minister to the Premier, Secretary to Cabinet, and Head of the Public Service. Developed promotional and educational material to assist in the organization’s outreach and communication efforts.

Coordinated a one day conference, vehicle display, and trade show designed to bring attention to climate change and cleaner more energy-efficient choices in transportation.
