Formulated an omega softgel, capsules for mitochondrial health, protein drink enhancers, energy drinks. Work with ingredients including probiotics, botanicals, vitamins, minerals, and proteins. Formulated products to meet deviating regulatory requirements of multiple countries.Met extremely tight deadlines as set by other departments to complete formulas and products.Created formulas based on literature and research, formulating in-house as much as possible.Worked with ingredient suppliers & contract manufacturers for raw material sourcing, pricing, pilots, and market acceptability. Created nutrition/supplement panels, validated claims for products.

Formulated new products, reformulated existing products for regulatory purposes and entries into new countries and markets, worked closely with Quality Assurance and Regulatory teams as well as our outside Contract Manufacturers to ensure product success. Some products were formulated in-house by myself while others were directed by me and made at the contract manufacturer, oftentimes with me working side-by-side with their R&D team to ensure we create the desired end-product. I also conducted sensory and efficacy studies on the products.Additionally, I did market research, product research, and analyzed peer-reviewed studies to back up the claims for our existing and new products, and wrote papers, summaries and presentations of this data.

Worked for the National Weather Service (NOAA) in Oxnard CA, San Diego CA, and Corpus Christi TX. Organized and completed a rip current study in San Diego, created an instructional booklet for Interns, & gave hurricane preparedness lectures in South Texas. Work focused on upper-air climatology, launching the weather balloons, and forecaster training.
