Jen Denton founded the company in early 2020 and called it “JD Destinations & Travel” with her initials as she was, at that time, a one-woman band on a mission. This was an adventure, owning her own business in two areas she is most passionate about – Travel & People. More specifically she wanted the relationship between travellers, local cultures and her team to thrive no matter the circumstances. Challenges in abundance… a worldwide pandemic hit. With all travel ground to a halt. Suppliers, Properties and Airlines folding faster than she could count. Jen realised she needed a team in a time no one hired. This was not a small feat and could not be done on her own. And so, Team JD was born and together we endured on our path fuelled with passion, positivity and drive, believing tourism was not lost. The result… our relationships with our clients, suppliers, friends, family, and each other truly blossomed. Together we scoured the globe from continent to continent, border to border and beyond to resuscitate holidays, support each other and achieved the unthinkable. Fast forward to 2024, 4 years later and we are a passion driven, client facing team of five incredible humans and countless others in the wings! We are grateful to have the most amazing client base and supplier relationships! We couldn’t wish for more!JD is no longer only Jen Denton alone, but made up of an amazing team who “Just Do”.
