I completed a Masters in Social Work at the University of Sussex in 2018. My first placement was in statutory Children's Services in a pod with Brighton and Hove City Council. My second placement was in Adult Services (Long Term Support Team - older adults) with the London Borough of Merton. I am now completing my ASYE with Surrey County Council Children's Services.I wrote my dissertation on adoption, and methods of minimising the breakdowns of adoptive placements. I am particularly interested in working with looked after children in fostering, adoption and permanency. As I have almost completed my masters, I am looking for a Newly Qualified Social Worker post to complete my ASYE.
