Leading the development and implementation of the Property and Commercial General Liability product line and managing the growth of the portfolio nationally.

• Responsible for the management of a $90 million dollar portfolio of business, written by 39 brokerages across Ontario• Develop and implement annual sales plan for distribution network in alignment with our commercial, personal and enterprise strategic plan• Collaboration with underwriting, claims and all necessary stakeholders to deliver solutions to our broker network and customers and maintain profitable growth• Through a team approach with underwriting, claims and risk services, seek to identify and close large account or portfolio opportunities• Provide commercial training and presentations to both underwriting staff and brokerage network• Seek and act on opportunities to appoint new brokerages who align appropriately with Economical’s strategic goals

• Maintained a $6 million mid-market renewal book with Kitchener Branch's three largest brokerages with $500,000 new business targets annually• Consistently exceeded all planned sales and profitability targets in new business while consistently maintaining service standards• Contributed to the growth and profitability of Economical Insurance through commercial risk selection, involving analysis and negotiation of terms on new and renewal business• Designated property and casualty underwriter for Economical Insurance’s Expert Transportation product• Cultivated and maintained broker relationships with our Pinnacle brokers through regular sales calls• Sought opportunities with key brokers for large accounts, contributing to Economical’s strategic goals• Coordinated with claims, risk services and business development to successfully close on large accounts
