• Provide in collaboration with Head of ICT, Clinical Director and Site CEO strategic direction, functional and technical leadership for operational, national and healthcare informatics projects. • Champion and promote each phase of the Clinical Portal (CHI at Temple Street electronic patient record) to be one of the central sources of patient information used by the clinical community to deliver the highest standards of patient care both onsite and remotely. Garner support for the use of the Clinical Portal as an electronic patient record. Create ownership through encouraging feedback on system functionality. Evaluate all change and enhancements requests for delivery against project roadmap. • Consult with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure coordination in systems planning, development, testing and implementation. Act as an interface between the clinical community, ICT Department and external vendors to accurately define business workflows and ensure that requirements are translated into intuitive, usable and secure systems of work which supports the delivery of patient care now and in the future. Manage stakeholder expectations against organisational goals and project timelines. Provide expert advice on the development of clinical information systems, products and services responsive to current and future needs. • Plan, develop and manage concurrent healthcare informatics projects, solution work packages and project streams at national and local level to address the clinical needs of patients and support the safe practice of clinical staff.• Lead and coordinate testing streams required to ensure accurate and safe systems of work. Support systems administrators and clinical users to devise test scripts required to robustly evaluate configuration pre and post system Go Live. Supervise and support senior clinical analysts in the management of healthcare informatics projects, promotion of new products and configuration to clinical systems.

• Member of project team responsible for successful site implementation of Clinical Portal. Developed comprehensive discipline specific testing strategy and accompanying test scripts to support detailed scenario testing. Manage RIBCC log and multiple testing streams to ensure that all issues identified were reported and resolved to ensure project milestones are met according to timescales. Maintain and sustain user engagement through timely feedback of progress. Collaborate cross discipline with clinical sponsors, clinical support services, operations and ICT divisions to ensure smooth go-live. • Promote and advocate the Clinical Portal as a strategy which enables clinical teams to deliver excellent standards of patient care by placing the right information in the hands of right person at the right time. Ensure support for the use of the Clinical Portal as an electronic patient record through formal and informal demonstrations of configuration. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical users and their support teams to identify existing manual business process. Ensure requirements are realised into a user friendly and accessible system of work which supports current and future workflows. Support clinical and operational users in employing available technological tools to transition to a more efficient system of work. Evaluate system configuration to identify how user change requests can be seamlessly incorporated into existing system configuration. Lead testing activities and supervise the promotion of new functionality to all Clinical Portal environments. • Establish, document and review existing workflow in co-operation with medical, nursing, HSCP and administrative teams. Identify how existing technology solutions can be modified in order to contribute to and effectively support the clinical workflow.
