Hey there! I’m Jennifer, a nurse, advocate, and community builder with a passion for social justice, trauma-informed care, and creating opportunities for underserved populations. My own journey as a first-generation college graduate, former foster youth, and teen mom has shaped who I am and drives my work every day.I’m currently wrapping up my RN to BSN degree, and I’m all about improving healthcare through compassion, education, and community. I recently had the honor of being the keynote speaker at CASA Galveston County’s volunteer appreciation luncheon, where I shared my thoughts on community, planting seeds for future growth, and caring for those who need it most.Beyond nursing, I’m diving into grant writing and public speaking to help amplify marginalized voices and bring attention to the gaps in our systems. My dream? To start a nonprofit that supports at-risk youth, helping them build resilience and break the cycle of trauma through education and mentorship.I love collaborating with others who are passionate about making a difference.
