As a Judicial Intern at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, I provided crucial legal research and support to Administrative Law Judges and OALJ Clerks. My responsibilities included conducting in-depth research on RTOs, ISOs, and OATT rules, and preparing legal memoranda to assist in hearing matters. I collaborated with a team to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our work, contributing to the efficient resolution of legal issues.

Plaintiff’s litigation attorney, focusing in federal and state labor and employment law. Routinely files employment complaints with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Rehabilitation Act, the Equal Pay Act, and the Age Discrimination Employment Act of 1967. Works with Partners and Senior Associates on employment matters filed in Federal District courts. Conducts research for litigation and drafts litigation documents including complaints, motions, and discovery and responses. Carries individual case load and represents clients in depositions, conferences, settlement negotiations, and Alternative Dispute Resolution mediations. Manages personal case load in addition to assisting Partners and Senior Associates.

Plaintiff’s federal litigation attorney, focusing primarily in breach of contract disputes, violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and related state law claims. Drafted pleadings, written discovery, and motion for summary judgment oppositions. Negotiated dispute resolution settlement agreements.

Assisted partners of boutique energy law firm. Performed legal research within NYS DPS and NYS DEC rules, regulations, and applicable corresponding statutes. Provided document review for acquisition agreements.

Legal intern to the NYS DEC Office of Hearings and Mediation Services. Here I worked directly with the Chief Administrative Law Judge and occasionally with other ALJ's within the office providing research and legal memos.

I worked within the DOS Office of General Council as the summer legal intern for the Utility Intervention Unit.

In this position I handle a lot of the research for new policy/legislative ideas that come through this office. I also outline and put together a rough draft of the intended legislation for our legal staff and policy writers. Another key component of my position is to handle constituent correspondence. This includes meetings here in the office, as well as writing letters and taking phone calls.
