I am a nontraditional student at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. I am a Management major with a concentration in Human Resource Management. The most influential decision I have made is to pursue a degree. College has provided me with amazing rewards. It has also presented some difficult obstacles that have been anything but easy to overcome. I obtained life lessons that I could not have learned outside of college. I have traveled to places where I did not know the main language of the country and had to overcome stereotypes. I am interested in company culture and how to improve the overall dynamics of the workplace. Before attending college I worked in the customer service field and I have extensive knowledge of how to communicate with others.I have been in the leader position of many groups but I have also sat back and let others lead the group when needed. I have extensive knowledge on all of the following: time management, task significance, planning and development, motivation, teamwork, leadership, communication skills, relationship building and customer service just to name the most important. I have a passion for leadership, building relationships, managing diversity and traveling.
