Developing the continuous improvement strategy and implementing initiatives to support the execution of that strategy for a multi-plant, 1,100-employee facility.

I teach our front line, hourly team leaders about lean tools and their application within our work cells, such as 5S, standardized work, Training Within Industry / Job Instruction methodologies, and managing for daily improvement. In addition to these concepts, I also teach, coach, and mentor our team leaders in strengthening their interpersonal and leadership skills, including our company's core and leadership competencies, our values, the essentials of leadership, communication skills, and the Respect Effect. All this compressed into an intensive 8-week long course, wherein they are full-time students encouraged from all levels of leadership to focus on their own career and personal development.
