I am a passionate creator of high-quality, lively nonfiction content for children in the field of kids media with the greatest experience in books. I specialize in inspiring kids to be curious life-long learners by igniting their interests and excitement about the world. I believe in motivating kids to spend more time outdoors in nature to help their growth, development, and well-being and to set them on the path to becoming conservationists and caretakers of our planet. I led the Kids Media team at National Geographic reaching 285 million kids and families per month with magazines, books, digital and social content, short-form video, and nonfiction franchise content. I oversaw an expansion plan for the kids book division that took our list from just over 50 books a year to 100 books a year, leading to a seven year period of double-digit growth.Currently, I am launching a content creation company, WonderLab Group, LLC, with two partners, Erica Green and Kate Hale. We develop customized kids nonfiction programs in the areas of STEM and fun reference to populate companies’ publishing, digital, and audio platforms.
