Work primarily involves site design and preparation of construction details and specifications for all aspects of a project including but not limited to grading, paving, walls, steps, ornamental fountains, gates, fences, arbors, etc. Recent projects include the restoration of an 18th century garden at Stratford Hall, the design of the Reveley Garden at the College of William & Mary (including construction documents and project management), construction details for the grounds at Carter’s Grove, the restoration of the Thomas Jefferson era carriage turnaround at Poplar Forest, the design of and construction documents for a new public plaza at the Historic Henry County Courthouse, and a master plan for the Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria. Work also includes research, documentation and design for landscape preservation and/or restoration of historic gardens and properties throughout the State of Virginia.

I have been a private consultant as well as sub-consultant to dozens of Landscape Architecture, Urban Design and Planning firms throughout Florida, Virginia, and Maine. Projects have included single and multi-family residential design, parks, equestrian farms, marina developments, roof top gardens, restaurants, streetscape and transportation corridors, neighborhood and city design guidelines, and garden designs. Projects are located throughout Florida, Virginia, and New York. Proficient in AutoCAD, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
