Awarded an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA)Working under Dr. Yolanda Morbey carrying out field work, banding and radio-tracking birds in Georgian Bay, Ontario. Experience taking blood samples, claw clips, affixing Lotex radio tags, and radio-telemetry methods. Study sites were water access only, and involved driving a Zodiac boat through difficult wave conditions in Georgian Bay.
