Jennifer is a hardworking and detail oriented problem solver with areas of expertise in building science, building construction, and building regulations. Her varied experience has afforded her a balance of technical and practical skills, and allowed her to develop into an effective technical resource as well as a strong communicator.Jennifer is currently an Intermediate Associate with the Civil/Structural Group at -30- Forensic Engineering. She draws on her experience and expertise to conduct investigations for various property losses and building envelope failures, as well as to support post-loss remediation projects. Jennifer is a designated Building Science Specialist of Ontario (BSSO) and is certified in Infrared Thermography (Level I). Her experience in the forensic industry has centered around evaluating the design, construction and building regulation compliance of residential and commercial buildings, including building envelope elements, fire protection systems and building services. She conducts infrared investigations in association with building envelope investigations and post-loss moisture impact assessments.Jennifer completed her Masters of Engineering in 2017, with a strong focus on critical infrastructure systems and infrastructure resilience planning. She is passionate about studying the operational challenges facing communities and their supporting infrastructure networks, particularly in the face of increasing extreme weather events.
