Leading PeaceGeeks, our team learns and tests how emerging technologies can more effectively and ethically transform migration and integration. We've been acknowledged with the UN's global Intercultural Innovation Award and named a national Promising Practice for our impact. My leadership is informed by a rich background in international relations, academia and humanitarian emergencies, focusing on gender-sensitive and conflict-aware strategies to build more peaceful societies.In collaboration with peacebuilders across 40 countries, I spent 5 years focused on building more equitable and effective funding partnerships, and now work with funders and policymakers to understand how AI and technology can most ethically and effectively employed for social impact and systems change. The recognition from organizations such as the UNAOC, Accenture, BMW Group, and Google Canada underscores our commitment to human-centered design, to drive innovation in service of more stable, secure, prosperous communities.
