Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities is a national program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF). It helped dozens of communities across the nation reshape environments to support healthy living and prevent childhood obesity. In Hamilton County, Ohio, this grant supported WeTHRIVE! initiatives. WeTHRIVE! works with underserved communities and populations to promote and teach strategies to increase healthy eating and physical activity.- Managed grant planning, implementation, budget, and reporting- Coordinated policy, system, and environmental public health strategies- Linked communities to appropriate and valuable resources and partners- Developed partnerships and coalitions

Safe Communities is an initiative of the National Highway Traffic Safety Association (NHTSA) and The U.S. Department of Transportation. This effort believes communities can best generate improvements in motor vehicle and other transportation-related safety issues.
