Have attended many Pioneer Health Network meetings in the past, KHA Conventions, many trainings across the state for different facets of our organization. for planning, organizing and executing the cultural transformation to World Class Patient Satisfaction in their organization; accountable to the Senior Leadership Team for the overall execution and success of the Service Excellence Initiative. Completed important documents for our facility such as the CHA/CHIP in conjunction with our county health department.Established nationally certifiable phlebotomy program for high school seniors in our county. With 120 educational hours and 100 successful draws these students are able to set for the American Medical Technologist Registered Phlebotomy Technologist exam. Held successful, extremely competitive fundraiser to offer the top student a significant scholarship. I was able to gain certification for our hospital to host this program and to complete the requirements for both myself and the Laboratory Manager to become Allied Health Instructors to conduct this program. We have already had successful completions and expect more by the end of the school year.Provide information for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease by conducting medical laboratory tests, procedures, experiments, and analyses along with the many other duties of a Laboratory Technician. Provide laboratory draws for the local nursing home two days a week; instruct students (Blood Banking specialty), and attend meetings when the Laboratory Manager is unavailable.
