A board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Jennifer Goedken is a passionate, mission-based clinician educator in women's health. Caring for marginalized, medically underserved populations in her hometown of Atlanta and abroad, she has dedicated herself as a mentor and educator of clinician learners and trainees. The Chief of Gynecology at the Atlanta Veterans Administration Medical Center, she is an active clinician. Honored as a WomenLift Health recipient by the Gates Foundation, she volunteers as the Medical Co-Director of the Clarkston-based Harriet Tubman Women’s Clinic and the Co-Director of Emory University's Global Health Residency Scholars Program. She travels to Ethiopia, Cambodia, the Republic of Georgia, and other destinations across the globe, dedicating herself to training clinicians in patient-centered care. An examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology, she currently serves on the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology's Committee for Ethics.
