I am a CIPD Level 5 (People Management) associate holder with a Human Resource Management and Hospitality and Tourism Management BA (Hons) 1st class degree. With excellent experience in HR Generalist and Employee Relations, I continue to seek ways to develop my knowledge and enhance my practice. Starting my career in the care industry, and moving on to the manufacturing industry, I have been able to develop my skills in a fast-paced environment, with no two days the same. Since moving into the manufacturing industry, I have been able to gain global experience and grasped a better understanding of global employment law, providing HR support in the UK, Asia and USA. Both of these industries allowed me to portray my time management skills and allowed me to become accustomed to interacting with multiple people in the space of a few hours. I worked at a summer camp in 2019 in the USA for 11 weeks and that is when I fell in love with travelling! Working with kids, and in the sun, was very demanding at times but it allowed me to grow as a person and build and develop (new) skills which are useful in my studies, workplace, and to progress forward with me in my career.I am very keen to learn new skills as I actively look for opportunities to, both in the United Kingdom, and the USA.
