I have been in the nursing field for years. I started out in Long-term care and on an Alzheimer's Unit, which advanced to skilled nursing care. I transitioned to the hospital setting, where I became the Clinical Educator of the Transitional Care Unit. From there, I have worked at a surgical center in PACU and doing pre-op and post-op same day cares. Orthopedic positions have taken place before and after the surgical center. For the last 6 1/2 years I have worked as a case manager in just about every role. I have had experience doing transcultural nursing care as a volunteer for my church in Bolivia and as a study abroad student in Guatemala. I spent 3 weeks in Florida at a sister hospital to assist with discharging during the COVID pandemic. I am a friendly, caring, people oriented person. I have always been a strong patient advocate. I am quick learner, critical thinker, hard worker, who gets the job done right and complete.
