Strategic partner for C-level executives and their teams to drive incremental sales across a wide range of industries, from start-ups to mature brands. - Consulted with businesses to develop growth plans, drive innovation in their space, build internal capabilities and assess overall brand health. - Representative project: Developed an influencer marketing strategy, annual marketing calendar and partnership marketing initiative for a client in the luxury space. This included establishing brand positioning, directing the creation of a new website and auditing all social media platforms. Appointed by the President of IMG to serve as the first women’s retail marketing expert for the collegiate licensing division. Charged with establishing a new team focused solely on marketing to women and educating all employees by developing a comprehensive account-specific retail database. Specific accomplishments include:Specific accomplishments include:- Created a licensee council to drive sales through new retail partnerships and first generation cooperative marketing programs.- Crafted a comprehensive strategy for driving sales of women’s apparel recommending higher-end licensee partnerships, shifting of internal resource, expanding distribution and new visual merchandising concepts.- Secured new distribution opportunities with PINK, Macy’s and Target. Initiated sell-in with Oakley, Lilly Pulitzer and Nordstrom.

As one of the founding employees and the first retail marketing hire at Spanx, Inc., I worked closely with Sara Blakely and the team to establish Spanx as a billion dollar international brand in record time. Amidst explosive growth, I created and implemented:- The go-to-market strategy for all product and category launches (i.e. men's, swim and active).- Ground-breaking retail marketing programs and a novel (and much duplicated) approach to shapewear as status symbol. - The expansion into mid-tier markets via our sub brand ASSETS.- International launch strategies and onsite execution for Japan, Australia, Korea, Philippines, Singapore and Europe.My experience at Spanx provided me with invaluable first-hand knowledge of what it takes to truly innovate in a space and build a loyal brand following.
