    Serving the following main objectives as a member of the Anderson Group:Electrodeless Plasma Discharge Lamps - Ownership of production in-parallel with ongoing R&D of an atomic emission source for benchtop spectroscopic applications, and for integration into mobile spectroscopic instrumentation aboard high-altitude research aircraft. Primarily focused on the generation of halogen, hydrogen, and rare gas spectra; in particular, chlorine and bromine emission in the VUV for the Resonance Fluorescence Detection technique used by the Harvard Halogen instrument (HAL), and Lyman-alpha emission for the Photo-Fragment Fluorescence Detection technique used by the Harvard Water Vapor instrument (HWV).NASA DCOTSS Mission - Engineering member of the instrument team supporting the HAL payload aboard the NASA ER-2 aircraft across two deployments of the Dynamics and Chemistry of the Summer Stratosphere (DCOTSS) research project.

    Made measurements of the energy of the loosely-bound electron in molecular fluids at supercritical temperature and pressure at Louisiana State University's synchrotron light source, the Center for Advanced Microstructures and Devices (CAMD). Experimental data were gathered for the determination of quasi-free electron energy in supercritical and near-supercritical fluids, providing insight into the minimum of the conduction band and emergent properties of fluids in supercritical phase.Additionally, performed upgrades and maintenance of McPherson-type 3-meter Normal Incidence Monochromator (NIM) beamline and experimental end station. Concurrently completed lectures on principles of operation of linear and cyclic accelerators and properties of synchrotron radiation.Advisors: Dr. Cherice M. Evans and Dr. Gary L. Findley
