I have worked for several framing studios and learned many skills. I decided to work for myself and expand my client base by providing full customer service.

Working with clients on framing orders. Order framing supplies. Execute the framing jobs. I also worked the floor in sales and merchandise.

Jennifer Helner is the owner of Scripted Expressions Studio located in Lowell, Michigan. She achieved her BFA in painting from Wayne State University in 1991. At Scripted Expressions Studio she creates, educates and is a custom framer. Jennifer is a Michigan realist watercolor painter of flowers, landscapes, and creative lettering. At her studio she provides art classes and workshops along with art instruction at Lowell Arts. After graduating from Wayne State Jennifer learned the craft of custom framing under a master framer. She continued her art education through classes at the BBAC, the College of Creative Studies and Kendell along with attending numerous workshops of nationally and internationally recognized artists. Jennifer is a juror for the arts at the Kent County Fair, the Artist Chair for the Fallasburg Art Festival in Lowell, Michigan and on the Board of Directors at Lowell Arts.Jennifer is married with two children. She loves spending time outdoors gardening and taking long walks with her dog Malachi. Jennifer’s teaching philosophy is simple: Look with your eyes. Look at what nature has to offer. Master as many techniques as you can. And it is only paper, we can start again.
