Bruton High School. Developed a student-athlete-led golf team by empowering student-athletes to support each other by initiating behind-the-scenes leadership development, organizing practices, coaching, modeling effective communication skills, securing resources, and providing logistics coordination. This resulted in player growth, leadership, and a Virginia Class 2 individual state champion who also secured a full college scholarship.

Focus on business development, client engagement, and administrative operations began in January 2023, previously served as the senior research associate (2019-2022) conducting external grant evaluations for school systems and institutions of higher education funded by DoDEA, USDE (e.g., Title III), foundations, and NSF.

SURN (School University Research Network) is a partnership of 28 Virginia Public school systems, the Virginia Department of Education, and The College. Our grants build the leadership capacity of principals, teachers, and central office administrators by focusing on high-yield instructional strategies related to student engagement. Serve as the co-principal investigator on the SURN Visible Leaders2.0 grant, a Teacher Quality Grant awarded by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV). Responsible for professional development and grant-related initiatives including grant writing, employee selection process for the Center, employee induction planning and development, conference planning, budgeting, and marketing. The state coordinator’s office for the McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Program is housed at The College of William and Mary for the Virginia Department of Education. Responsible for conducting trainings, writing information briefs, supporting survey investigations, and providing technical assistance on the implementation of the law. From 2000-2002, served as Project HOPE's graduate assistant before transitioning to the outreach specialist position.
