With an MA in psychology and a PDP teaching program, I have been supporting students from kindergarten to grade seven as a school counselor at Surrey Schools for over seven years. I collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement individual education plans, and to address issues such as procrastination, learning delays, depression, giftedness, and performance anxiety. I use my skills in psychotherapy, psychology, and mental health counseling to help students discover and express their potential.In addition to my role as a school counselor, I also teach group counseling courses as an adjunct faculty at City University, where I obtained my MA in psychology. I share my expertise and experience in facilitating personal growth and healing through art and storytelling, which I also use as tools in my own business, Hope Counselling. There, I create menus for clients based on their goals and preferences, and offer them a supportive and friendly coffee mate. My goal is to be a person of impact in people's lives, and to empower them to achieve their dreams.
