Currently, I am a Program Coordinator at Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, where I bring my certified expertise to the forefront of consumer services. My mission is to enhance the quality and accessibility of peer support, aligning with our organization's goal to empower individuals through recovery-oriented practices.My role encompasses the management of peer support initiatives, ensuring that projects are delivered with high standards and adherence to Nebraska's statutory requirements. I've developed and implemented policies that have been instrumental in progressing the state's Peer Support and Wellness Specialist Skills Training. My tenure has been marked by fostering consumer and family engagement, tailoring services to meet community needs, and championing wellness with a focus on trauma-informed care.
