The program consists of three phases that expose the program participant to a broad view of Carestream's business, then a deep immersion into a specific IT area and ultimately their core assignment within IT.The first phase consists of three rotations within different Carestream departments. The rotations were as follows: Project Management/Relationship Management Office, Operation and Asset Management, and Service Global Customer Care Analytics. During these rotations, I supported the project prioritizing, estimation and investment approval processes, as well as, supported the project execution processes and our use of Planview. I gained experience working directly with the operations area to support the infrastructure of the organization. Finally, I designed and implemented Power BI Dashboards for our Service Organization that help identify actionable items. The second phase consists of a deep immersion into a specific IT area. I am currently working on the IT Business Intelligence Team, implementing a Self-Service Reporting structure using Microsoft’s Power BI Reporting tool. I work with different parts of the Carestream Business to develop interactive dashboards and reporting using Power BI and help set up the Self-Service Reporting Model. I have also furthered my education by taking 11 Data Science courses and earned my Microsoft Professional Program Data Science Certificate.
