• Directed front-end loading HSE activities on numerous new country entries and start-ups, conducted due diligence, site screening and fatal flaw studies, baseline studies, environmental and social impact assessments, oil spill response planning, auditing and permitting, allowing the company to pursue business opportunities in North America, South America, Russia, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Caspian area.

• Provided overall HSE leadership and management for global onshore and offshore regasification projects and pipelines more than several billion dollars in value, supporting the company’s aggressive strategy to grow the infrastructure. Led all permitting efforts on multiple operated projects.• Served as company spokesperson on HSE matters related to siting of LNG terminals by managing relations with internal and external stakeholders, industry peers and regulatory authorities, achieving collaboration in a difficult political environment.• Implemented proactive approaches to address safety and environmental issues by utilizing local experts to work collaboratively with communities on sensitive issues, achieving improved stakeholder relations.• Conducted audits on partner-operated LNG projects to protect the company’s interests.

• Served as environmental lead for business development opportunities which allowed the company to make informed decisions on major transactions. (U.S., Venezuela, U.K., Chile, Spain, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Russia, Vietnam, Algeria, Nigeria, Egypt, Dubai, Canada and Mexico)• Managed various soil and groundwater site characterization and remediation projects for compliance and to limit client and company liability.• Directed a seven-year field investigation in the Russian Arctic utilizing specialists from Alaska, Canada and Russia which resulted in the first comprehensive environmental study of the area.
