Conduct health research and apply advanced research/statistical methods to assist in the development and modification of programs and processes,Handle complex funding applications for existing programs. The funding decisions/recommendations can impact other branches within the Department, Alberta Health Services, service providers and the general public.Support the ongoing evolution of the special programs within the HIP Branch to ensure decisions are information based and made within legislative authorities.Support Special Programs programs (Out-of-Country, Final Stage Gender Reassignment Surgery Program as well as any other special approvals).

• Lead the development of data analytics solutions for small businesses, driving rapid results and continuous improvement.• Implement management science strategies to optimize business processes and decision-making.• Spearhead the growth of Oplytics, a remote-based consulting organization in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
