Member of a small team consisting of designers and researchers from the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Student Success Initiatives at Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA), I collaborate with fellow team members to produce Spotlight. Spotlight, an infographic newsletter, presents digestible research findings on a variety topics affecting NOVA's students and six campuses. Distributed to a far-reaching audience of NOVA students, faculty, staff and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include:• Conceive and develop infographics (e.g., charts, diagrams, maps, icons) for print and screen• Create illustrations• Create accurate production-ready final mechanical/specifications for print and screen• Establish and work within brand guidelines• Research, interpret, and organize data for visualizations• Collaborate with fellow team members to craft a compelling visual narrative

Aid in the execution of marketing campaigns, advertising, and subscriptions at PNAS. Responsible for creating, designing, editing, and writing preliminary copy for all PNAS advertisements and marketing materials. Graphic Design • Manage in-house ad library. Create, edit, and design over 12 print and 10 banner advertisements, annually.• Write preliminary copy, design annual Marketing brochure and Media kit. Communicate files and specifications to offsite printer.Marketing• Complete monthly subscription reports; communicate reports to senior management.• Establish and activate trial subscriptions for potential subscribers.• Assist in maintaining subscriber accounts.Exhibit Management• Manage approximately 15 scientific and library conference exhibiting opportunities. • Manage annual Library Advisory Group meeting: reserve room block and manage rooming list, communicate with travel agency, reserve the conference room, finalize menu for the event, and assemble agenda books for the event.Advertising• Oversee advertising program with revenue of over $115,000. Provide campaign statistics, ensure proper placement, provide customer service, prepare and send invoices.• Act as point-of-contact, provide general customer service to advertisers.
