Project for non-profit migrating WordPress stack with custom Sales Force integrations from Rackspace to AWS. • Analyzed existing system and provided recommended AWS architecture for Dev/Stage/Production environments, including HA and scalable architecture for Production. • Built all AWS servers from OS level including development of configuration management scripts and versioning using infrastructure as code methodology. • Created Lambda functions to automate snapshots of all servers including lower environment DB servers on a nightly basis. • Built out entire CICD pipeline from scratch using Bitbucket, Bamboo and AWS Code Pipelines including Production Deployments for Content only that client uses to push content from Stage to Production. This was all previously done manually in first Stage and then Production environments. • Stood up ELK Production Cluster and New Relic APM/Browser/Infrastructure monitoring in order to facilitate troubleshooting and interpreting performance metrics. Alerts were setup when certain thresholds were met in order to proactively diagnose and resolve any escalating issues. • Migrated existing domain from GoDaddy to AWS Route 53. • Handled all DB migration from Rackspace to AWS RDS. • Reduced security risks by hardening system and servers. Validation of compliance was completed by a third-party security testing firm. • Completed project on time and on budget with zero Production downtime.

ALG – System Team – System Team is a specialized agile team defined within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology that is responsible for building and using the agile development environment including continuous integration, test automation and continuous deployments. My team was responsible for creating and maintaining infrastructure, including continuous integration, automated builds and automated build verification testing. Creating platforms and environments for development, quality assurance, user acceptance testing and staging. The team was responsible for creating utilities and scripts to automate deployments including selecting third party tools to help streamline the CICD pipeline.
