This role involved supervising beach lifeguard teams over 4 beaches and 140 miles of coast, from Redcar to Withernsea. This involved working, training, and supporting lifeguard teams and their lifesaving operations.Main responsibilities included:Working with other Supervisors on the recruitment, training, supervision, welfare, and development of the lifeguard team.Ensuring the safe and effective delivery of the lifeguard service to the highest of standards. Managing and supporting lifeguard operations on demanding popular surf beaches, including responding to emergency situations.Contributing to the operational procedures, lifeguard service model and strategic planning.
