Exhaustive, content knowledge base in the MCAT science areas of General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry allows me to provide small group, in-person and/or online MCAT test prep instruction in accordance with The Princeton Review’s curriculum and training.Through demonstration of a strong ability to improve students’ test scores and communicate students’ progress through the programs of the company students thrive in my sections. I proactively identify and counsel students who are not improving and use experience and judgment to counsel students and families to assist the students in reaching their goals. Responsible for new science program development, implementation, budgeting, reporting, coordinating and ensuring a quality experience for all participants of inquiry based science programming through science outreach programs in schools and on site STEM related workshops. Areas of responsibilities included but were not limited:Develop, manage and administer inquiry based science programs and experiences addressing the needs of schools, home school groups and public audiences served by and in the museum, as well as serve as an advocate for the aforementioned audiences. Recruitment of and direct supervision of science program instructors including training, assigning and directing work.Assist in budget creation and oversight of science programs.Develop curriculum, teacher guides, training programs, and other publications appropriate to the needs of schools, home school groups and public audiences, in and out of the museum.Research, design, and develop new teacher professional development workshops: creating presentations, writing curricula, and develop training. Collaborate with community organizations, attend meetings held in the museum and community such as state science curricula meetings as well as develop relationships with schools, home school organizations and members of science organizations.Assist in the creation and implementation of an assessment system for ongoing development of science programs to ensure consistency and effectively meet desired outcomes. Encourage, support applying for and assist in writing, development and creation of local and national level scientific grants that expand museum exhibits which benefit the community
