• In addition to my ongoing role as Impact & Strategic Initiatives Director, I am also the acting director of the youth housing programs until a permanent housing director is hired.• Director of 5 unique housing programs which provide housing and mentoring for 100+ transitional-aged foster youth and their children each year.• Oversight of all operations and monitoring deliverables to ensure contract compliance.• Provide direct supervision for housing manager and program coordinators.

• Provided oversight of Alameda County’s Independent Living Program (ILP), a county-wide program that provides support around housing, education, career and life skills to over 400 foster youth annually as they transition out of care. Oversight included management of budgets, contract compliance, partner relations, data quality, operations management, staff supervision, and curriculum development. • Managed a team of 12 staff members including program managers, assistant managers, coordinators, coaches and admin staff.• Managed the day-to-day operations of the ILP Youth Center, a community space to host workshops and coaching sessions as well as drop-in support for current and former foster youth.• Evaluated all program operations and procedures to determine bottlenecks and gaps in services. Supported program managers in creating blueprints and process flow diagrams to enhance program efficiency.• Managed and established new partner relationships, including child welfare workers/managers, juvenile justice centers, foster parent associations, local school districts/universities, transitional housing and mental health providers, advocacy groups and other community-based organizations.

• Designed and launched TheCIL's youth employment programs (“Elevate” for high school youth with disabilities and “Accelerate” for college students with disabilities) from inception to serving 300+ youth annually, within a year becoming two of the more prominent programs with the largest growth within the organization.• Managed and established new partner relationships, including CA Department of Rehabilitation, employers, workforce development programs, local schools/universities, police and city workers, mental health providers, and other community-based organizations.• Acted as lead grant writer and program developer for the organization. Authored multiple grant proposals that brought funding to build new programming, including Department of Rehabilitation (2017, $200,000), Neilsen Foundation (2019, $100,000), Reeve Foundation (2019, $75,000).

• Designed and implemented a training program for the tri-cities of West Contra Costa County to develop their own travel training programs for individuals with disabilities; authored a 200-page curriculum book published online (2017), which became one of the leading curriculum models for travel training at the time.

Shyp was an app-based startup company that provided on-demand shipping for consumers.
