I am a university graduate currently looking for work in the marketing and PR fields, and in the media industry. I have previous work experience in administration, customer services, retail, sales and support work industries. I also have previous administrative and marketing experience from my work at the film and media production company Bridge + Tunnel. During the summer of 2015, I have been travelling across India and South East Asia, exploring a variety of different cultures. Returning to the UK, I am now hoping to enter into the media industry, and am willing to relocate if necessary. In 2014, I had also been travelling and working in Australia, working in the direct sales industry and in retail, dealing both with businesses and members of the public. Through working in a target-focused role such as direct sales, I have gained a great work ethic and self-motivation, always aiming to achieve and surpass my own goals, as well as a great student mentality to learn from others around me. Having worked in retail since the age of 16, I have great customer service experience, and whilst working for the international retail company Uniqlo in Melbourne I underwent intense month-long customer service training. I greatly enjoy working as part of a team, however, I also work very well independently and work with determination on any task that I am given. Whilst studying I have taken a variety of academic and practical modules, including journalism, PR and magazine publishing modules. I also volunteered at a variety of university ran-events, including open days and campus tours, representing the university to prospective students. Throughout my time at university I have gained skills vital for many lines of work, such as learning to balance a busy work load with an organised frame of mind, working to deadlines, and working on and directing large group projects.
