I am the founder and CEO of Day One Academy. With over two decades of experience in multidisciplinary marketing, I have played a key role in branding and managing a wide range of corporate products and services through print and digital advertising.I have had the privilege to work with some of the biggest names in the business including United Overseas Bank, Walt Disney, MTV, Asia Pacific Breweries, Planet Hollywood, Casio, Meiji, Sembawang Environmental Management, Singapore Art Museum and many other multinational corporations. I have managed national campaigns for government accounts like National Environment Agency, National Youth Council and Singapore Tourism Board. My ability to create exciting products, new opportunities and generate ideas has always helped me stand out from the competition. I help businesses move ahead in profitable avenues, looking at problems, opportunities and situations. My key strengths are my ability to come up with unique marketing ideas, compelling presentations, and to motivate and inspire. I am a team player. I take life’s challenges with a positive attitude.Lateral thinking has always made me the ‘go-to person’ in my professional and personal circle of contact.My biggest challenge and learning experience was the setting up of my own design and advertising agency in 1996. Striking it out on my own meant I had to be an entrepreneur with a ton of challenges. It turned out to be a great and fulfilling experience. With Day One Academy, I embark on a new adventure of enrichment programmes for neuro-typical students to equip children with strong learning skills and psycho-educational and learning related support for children with mild learning disorders, enhancing and enabling their growth based on resilience and total wellness.
