Coordination of events in support of various charities in Ontario.Managed around 50 events per year from tribute concerts, to charity hockey games in 20 different cities in the province. Coordinated all details from the time of booking, to attending events and handling any issues that arose on site. Tasks included; researching and booking the appropriate venue (in line with budget, accurate capacity for expected audience, overall nature of the event etc.) and entertainment to fit proposed schedule, finding and sourcing sound/lighting technicians, was the contact for any and all complications that arose during the process (e.g. COVID-19 cancellations and rescheduling), setting up ticketing system, preparing internal documents for campaign launch, and fielding customer service issues throughout the process. Was the primary contact for all involved parties regarding any issue, or detail pertaining to the event.Additionally, managed the complimentary event program distributed at all events. Oversaw the creation and execution of these programs and ensured all corporate sponsors received placement in the book with correct and up to date artwork in addition to curating more editorial content from the charity, and city in which the event took place.

In this role, I handled the company social media and overall online presence. Kept all social media platforms up to date with engaging material, and attended events to capture photographs and videos to post to our feeds to keep them fresh and exciting. In addition, I was responsible for the creation and distribution of all email communications sent to customers, and crafting and updating the content of print material going out to sponsors. I proofread all internal and external documents before they went out, and liaised with sponsors regarding artwork for our souvenir program distributed at each event. This, I also combed through for any inaccuracies or errors before distribution.Finding and liaising with media partners, large tour sponsors, and proposing and working out details for in-kind agreements also made up a portion of my responsibilities.

Created a series of tutorial videos for using Microsoft Teams for instructors of IILE program.These included voiceover, screen recording, and helpful on screen graphics to educate, and guide oftentimes non-English speaking individuals through the platform.

Managed and organized site with over 300 students and instructors present.Performed administrative tasks including but not limited to; inputting attendance, completing registrations, handling funds, troubleshooting any day-to-day complications that come up on any given day, and supporting the instructors and students both inside and out of the classroom.During the COVID-19 lockdown, this became a remote position and we had to adapt the program to fit the online structure. Many instructors and students did not speak English as their first language, so effective communication and finding alternative ways to problem-solve became more of a challenge, and was brought to the forefront of my responsibilities.

Worked with United Way Brant for a class to provide photos and videos of shareholders and sponsors for the organization.Conducted interviews, live shot events, and created a promotional video for the organization as well as providing them with photos of their sponsors for their website
