Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems. •Administer compensation for raises and bonuses; monitor and coordinate performance evaluation reviews for legal and non-legal staff •Maintain benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, enrolling new hires and dependents, terming, open enrollment, and communicating benefit information to employees. •Conduct recruitment and interviews for all exempt and non-exempt personnel and temporary employees; conduct new-employee orientations; training; input all new hire information into HRB and payroll; set up Lexus Nexus and WestLaw accounts •Participate in staff meetings and attend other meetings. Maintain company organization charts and employee directory. •Assist in evaluation of reports and decisions to establish goals. Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures for continual improvements in departments and services performed. •Maintain Human Resource Information System records and compile reports from database. •Work closely with the Legal Recruiting department for Summer Associates and Incoming First Year Associates as well as all other legal staff administration•Quarterly reports such as W-2 reporting for all staff and attendance report summaries for all non-legal staff; yearly reports and mailings such as 401k Fee Disclosures and Medical Loss Rebates; and monthly reports such as headcount, billable hours, and overtime hours•Coordinate and conduct all Professional Liability Insurance administration; questionnaries and claims. •Provide current employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.•Handle all on-boarding and off-boarding details including exit interviews• Update job descriptions for all positions.•Coordinate event planning and all training programs and seminars; Conduct all overtime, attendance, and time off for non-exempt staff
