Jennifer McGowan’s Creative Dance Center is dedicated to providing quality dance education to children of all ages with the philosophy that dance is for everybody and everybody can dance. Dance skills and vocabulary are taught with an emphasis on body awareness and confidence in movement. Dancers create beautiful improvisational dances as they learn and explore the tools of dance – technique, design, rhythm, flow, and creativity. In addition, they develop music appreciation as they dance to the many musical rhythms, learn problem-solving skills, and create solo and group dances expressing the uniqueness of each dancer. Yoga postures and stories and relaxation techniques are integrated into the class to connect body, mind, and spirit. Classes are available in Stow and Pepperell, MA. I am also available to create and teach a workshop that is designed to meet the needs of your school or program.
