• SmartSleep Snoring Relief Band– Led cross-functional teams to work cohesively to dig into untapped problems and core issues– Investigated external product for acquisition, and incorporated product into existing portfolio– Developed and edited testing protocols, defined quantitive and qualitive metrics of success, andacquired cross functional approval and support– Examined market, and ran test with consumers to determine what form factors worked best withcorresponding demographic cohorts• Night Balance– Utilized product acquisition and further developed both a wellness and medical device for COPD– Defined CPAP user pathway for sleep apnea patients and identified key areas of opportunity forthose who failed CPAP therapy– Thoroughly investigated areas of potential growth to determine the core problem from surroundingsymptomatic issues– Determined alternate use of product acquisition and worked with regulatory to further device as aClass II medical device alternative to patients who failed CPAP, as a viable option for sleep apneapatients that displayed a significant reduction of Apnea-Hypoxia Index (AHI)– Worked closely with regulatory during product development to ensure all standards were met forwellness/Class I/Class II devices and ensured all regulatory requirements were met and, by timeof launch, all elements approved by FDA– Organized and ran physician Round Table comprised of leading sleep physicians to gain insightand expert opinion on CPAP alternatives for patients who failed CPAP therapy– Created personas based on clinician insights and patient demographics in order to develop bespoke solutions that had better outcomes, lower risk, and higher degree of success in market– Evaluated solutions against gold standard treatment methods and determined substantial equivalency for patients who had failed initial treatment

• SmartSleep Analyzer– Analyzed de-identified patient sleep data and media usage to determine the optimal way to connect with patients and presented findings to leadership– Evaluated competitor solutions to determine their potential threat to internal products• Collaborated with an international team to innovate a solution to a designated sleep problem, andcontinued with product though development stages for two years

Developed prototypes for packages using SolidWorks. Used thermoformer, 3D printer, die cutter, and plotting machines to produce production quality samples. Assisted in the development of novel packaging techniques

Investigated field complaints by examining spine devices and instruments, along with patient x-rays. Provided support to the release of the Vista®-S Cervical Interbody Fusion Device line extension, along with supplemental rasps, provisionals and inserters. Wrote technical reports, technical memorandums, and testing procedures for design verification. Compiled a Design History File. Contributed to a deficiency response to the FDA (K133784). Revised the Surgical Technique, Spine Catalogue, and Package Insert. Gained cross functional approval for technical drawing changes. Participated in a cadaver lab involving the implantation of lumbosacral Interbody Fusion Devices.
