Administrative Nursing Supervisor· contributes information to strategic plans and reviews; implements productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolves hospital-wide problems; identifies system improvements.· Completes patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff; following up on work results.· Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.· Provides information to patients and health care team by answering questions and requests.·Resolves patient needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.·Maintains safe and clean working environment by designing and implementing procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from other health care professionals.

·Reports to Director of Surgical Services. ·Supervisor for Preadmission Testing, Pre-Op and PACU for Inpatient and Ambulatory Surgical and Endoscopy Departments.· Promote a multidisciplinary coordination of services, such as nursing, medical, respiratory care, laboratory pharmaceutical and public relations.·Participate in budgetary formulation and control for areas of responsibility in collaboration with the Nurse Director.·Administer and appraise Process Improvement within the services provided.·Control processes related to Human Resources; inclusive of hiring, evaluating, terminating, counseling, coaching, and development of staff.·Act as liaison for physicians to facilitate excellent customer service and patient care·Proficient with Cerner Application -recognize process of improving healthcare records to ensure improved patient outcomes, data quality and accurate reimbursement -designated "champion user" during the initiation phase of Cerner Applications for Surginet at Florida Hospital Tampa -worked with physicians and staff to educate and train on Cerner -participated in the development, integration and initiation of the Surginet Anesthesia application -responsible for Surginet work flow analysis, and correcting deficiencies that affect revenue cycle
