Jennifer Mok was motivated to drive her ambition into action for combating climate change. She has worked in the brand and marketing field for the past 10 years. Her work in this field has seen her combine of her talents and interests into a career focus on brand innovation which helps businesses to implement sustainability goals from new strategies and approaches. In particular, her concern on ecosystem is the drive to raise the forestry and environmental awareness by offering a greener bamboo tissue as alternative to wood pulp tissue in order to conserve the forests and biodiversity. She is currently running PureBamboo and pursuing Master of Social Sciences in Sustainability Leadership and Governance at the University of Hong Kong. PureBamboo was founded with her former partner in 2017. Since 2019, she took over the company and has been operating until the present. With the social enterprise mind-set she has, she is now leading the company to move forward to a more sustainable model which focuses on creating impacts not only to the environment and stakeholders but also to our society.
