I have been in the instructional field for the past 12 years or so. I enjoy helping students to improve their understanding of mathematics, and the nature of their world in general where math in concerned. I have taught courses in Geometry, and Pre-Calculus, Middle School math, Beginning Elementary math, AIMS Preparation, and have worked tutoring mathematics as well.For most of this time I have also been involved in music - from teaching elementary children music to helping with high school musical performances. The elementary students learned both vocal music, and beginning note reading. During this time, I have also taught beginner piano lessons at various times.Prior to teaching, I worked for approximately 15 years in various aspects of Industrial Engineering - I worked primarily in Facilities Planning, at one point maintaining the square footage for a major Aerospace plant for all office areas. I also worked with shop floor layouts, machinery acquisition, interior building design, capital equipment budget planning, and tenant improvements in building projects.
